Finally! The Half Life 2 multiplayer addition, and graphically superior version of Counterstrike is arriving to Mac users on Wednesday next week! I have already tried out the mac version of Half Life 2, which has a superb finish, so whatever Valve releases for one of the most popular multiplayer game ever, will of course be equal to the PC version in every way! Those whopping big Proliant DL580 G2 fans in the 2nd power supply bay really keep the soft drinks cool on a hot day :D The only issue is they could block airflow a bit, but normally that bay fan would be cooling the redundant power supply anyway
Just found out this terrifically awesome update to the google interface – as you know, google updated it interface to a more plasticy logo and a new sidebar which does almost nothing that you couldn’t do already! Now though, you can change the plain crisp white background to a image from your computer, from your Picassa account or one from the popular images list.

Just recieved ubuntu 10.04 desktop edition in the post, quite exciting considering I needed a copy to update my laptop. The only problem is that I only just realised now that I’ve got 8.04 on my server(fully updated of course!) …time to update to latest LTS!!
